In those days of (relative) electoral effervescence, nothing is more challenging to artistic creation than those electoral posters. Forms and colours, portraits and slogans compete in formal expressiveness with the aim of arousing in us conviction and action.

Art also has the ambition to change our lifes, and I am convinced that a fundamental yardstick of worth of artictic works can only reside in their political sense.

The billboard then seemed to me a recommandable exhibition space.
